Lewmar Marine appoints new CEO

 
HAVANT, UK - Lewmar Marine today announced changes in the leadership of the company with the departure of Peter O’Connell as CEO. With immediate effect, the Board of Directors has appointed Peter Tierney as CEO, in addition to his current responsibilties as Chairman.

Peter Tierney has an engineering Degree and MBA and has, for the last 12 years, been the chief executive of various technical manufacturing and service businesses both in the UK and overseas.

Peter Tierney stated:

“In these difficult economic times, we have to continually strive to be successful. Lewmar is a great business with a strong brand and I am confident that we can develop the business successfully on and into the future for all our customers, employees, shareholders and stakeholders.
