Lewmar Launches Integra Autopilot Drive

HAVANT, U.K.- World leader in marine equipment, Lewmar is launching the Integra Drive. A compact and robust autopilot drive motor, the Integra Drive was developed to integrate with rack and pinion, chain and wire and mechanical gearbox steering systems. This unique drive unit is the only autopilot drive motor that can be installed inside the Lewmar Integra Cobra and Mamba pedestals. Installation is quick and easy, as Lewmar has eliminated the need for labour intensive mounting platforms or structures.

The Integra Drive is available in both 12v or 24v, and is rated at 1/4hp. The Integra is suited for most sailing vessels up to 15.24m (50 ft.) LOA or a max rudder torque of 248mkg (1794ft-lbs). The autopilot drive is also available in a sprocket version, popular with Bavaria Cruising Yachts from 9-12m (30-39ft) in length.
